Born and raised in ‘Aiea, Hawai’i, Raechele Jang is a 2013 graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kapālama. Ms. Jang attended the University of La Verne where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminology and minor in Anthropology. She received her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University in 2020.

Prior to law school, Ms. Jang interned at a prominent personal injury law firm in Honolulu, Hawai’i. She also volunteered at the O’ahu First Circuit Family Court where she worked closely with the Domestic Violence Restraining Order department. There, she sparked an interest in family law and wanted to dedicate her career to helping those facing an emotional and delicate time in their lives.

As a law student, Ms. Jang volunteered at the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center and assisted worker’s rights clients with their employment disputes. She also interned at the Family Justice Center of the Santa Clara County Superior Court with the Honorable Julie A. Emede. During her internship, she observed adoption, guardianship, and domestic violence cases and learned about the Court’s process. Ms. Jang attended courses in California Community Property and Family Law, and participated in a domestic violence seminar.

Ms. Jang joined Hoover Krepelka, LLP in February 2021 as a Post-Bar Law Clerk. Upon successfully passing the California state bar examination in November 2021, she was promoted to Associate Attorney.

In her spare time, Ms. Jang enjoys finding great places to eat, baking, and spending time with her friends and family, including her dog, Bubba.
