Temporary Restraining Orders

First we will file for a temporary restraining order (TRO), which is effective for three or four weeks. At the end of that period, we will file to make the temporary restraining order into a long-term restraining order.

Permanent Restraining Order

A permanent or long-term restraining order is effective for up to five years. We are experienced and effective in seeking to have temporary orders made permanent in order to protect our clients.
A domestic violence restraining order can be used when violence erupts between married couples, cohabitating couples, people with children in common, people who are currently or were formerly dating, and people who were formerly married.

We recognize that domestic violence situations are highly emotional and physically dangerous. We can help you with the legal aspects of getting a restraining order.
